Number Fluency Section

About:
The Number Fluency section of this Mini-ACT includes a maximum of 10 questions and has a time limit of 30 seconds. Try to work as fast as you can without losing accurately. Do not expect to answer all 10 test questions.


Instructions
You will be shown a single mathematical expression on the screen. Remember the result of the expression, then select "Next."
A second mathematical expression will now appear. Again, remember the result, then select "Next."
You will then be asked: "Which is greater?"

Your answer choices will be:

• First (if the first expression resulted in a larger value)
• Last (if the second expression resulted in a larger value)
• Same (if both expressions are equal)

Because you cannot see both expressions at the same time, you must rely on your memory and quick calculation skills to answer correctly.


When you are ready, select “Begin” to start the timed test.
